I was there admiring the burning sky, it was a beautiful sunset. The beach was almost empty, a few people I could see were also packing their bags and getting ready to leave the beauty. A local person came near me and suggested to leave the beach as well, as it was going to be dark soon. I was surprised by what he told me later while walking my way to the hotel. It was quite spooky and mysterious.
India is full of mysterious places and stories of the past that still haunt our minds and increase our curiosity to go deep and know about them as much as possible. However, we never get to know the exact reason, but the story can keep us awake many nights. Dumas Beach is one of them.
A beach situated in Dimond City, Gujarat, along with the Arabian Sea, Dumas Beach is a well-known haunted place in Gujarat, just like Kuldhara in Rajasthan. Whoever came here got to know the evil spirit told by locals. It is said the beach was used as a Hindu burial ground before, and therefore it is possessed by evil spirits. The black sand adds more ghostliness.

What locals believe
When the sun goes down and the moon appears, an eeriness appears in the environment too, which locals tend to avoid and warn tourists to avoid too. Even though the surroundings are beautiful like any other beach, it carries depressive and negative energies within.
People have experienced paranormal activities in the area after sunset, especially when the moon shows up. According to locals, several tourists and locals were reported missing from Dumas Beach, and a man's bod,y which was found on the beach with his tongue popping out, scares more. There was no explanation, what could have happened? Was it suicide or a murder? Nobody knows, not even the local police had any idea.
Like any other haunted place, people heard spooky sounds here as well. Nobody knows where they come from, as there was not a single person or machine present, which can generate sounds of any kind. The mystery remains the same. These stories add more adventure for those who like it. If you are one of them, you would certainly love it.
